Marta García

Marta Garcia is a Director and Co-Head of Social Finance’s International team. She is directly responsible for Social Finance’s work in Spain and Latin America, where she spearheads the firm´s market-building efforts by connecting impact-focused players and providing advice, guidance and support to key stakeholders, including government and investors. In this role, Marta has led the development of several outcomes-focused instruments, including Social Impact Bonds and Outcomes Funds. 

Marta has extensive commercial experience, gained over a decade working in management consulting (Boston Consulting Group) and commercial banking (Capital One Bank). She has also spent a large part of her career strengthening the growth, sustainability and impact-creation capabilities of non-profit organisations (at UnLtd in the UK, The Bridgespan Group in the USA, and Population Services International in Central America). Marta was Head of the Leaders´ Quest Foundation, an operational foundation focused on empowering community leaders in India. Marta has been the Vice-Chair of FPA, a UK-based sexual health charity, and is a Trustee and Treasurer of TPI, a global NGO promoting SDG-focused partnerships across sectors. She has a BA cum laude in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and an MBA from Stanford University (USA).
